Pages of Madness

June 2004

Drawing on medical evidence and the artists’ own experiences of mental health issues, Pages of Madness provides an experimental response to this phenomenon, exploring the psyche of a mentally ill person through the use of textual interplays, sound, and photographic and video images. It includes reconceptions of concrete poetry and the cinĂ©-roman, investigations in narrative space and construction, and explorations of the contemporary notions of cyberspace and Asian ideas of void.
