Pages of Madness

June 2004

Drawing on medical evidence and the artists’ own experiences of mental health issues, Pages of Madness¬†provides an experimental response to this phenomenon, exploring the psyche of a mentally ill person through the use of textual interplays, sound, and photographic and video images. It includes reconceptions of concrete poetry and the cin√©-roman, investigations in narrative space and construction, and explorations of the contemporary notions of cyberspace and Asian ideas of void.
