An incomparable 12-hour super-mix of genre-defying music from around the corner and the globe. Hear the highly anticipated U.S. premiere of Fausto Romitelli’s Professor Bad Trip performed by Talea Ensemble; a Bang on a Can All-Stars’ premiere with Mira Calix; African crossover innovators Burkina Electric; Balinese Gamelan; music from Kyrgyzstan and much more! 12pm - 12am.

At 4:00 p.m., Evan Ziporyn and Gamelan Galak Tika will give a performance of Tire Fire! They’ll be joined by guitar heroes Eddie Whalen and Balaji Mani, Blake Newman on bass, and Matt Van Brink on keyboard. Their classic rock-gamelan anthem pumped up to a new level!

Come early and/or stick around to hear me with Bang on a Can All-Stars performing works by Fred Frith & Kate Moore, as well as the world premiere of our collaboration with electronica diva Mira Calix. Also performances by Vernon Reid, Steve Coleman, Burkina Electric, traditional music from Kyrgyzstan, as well as works by Iannis Xenakis, Michael Gordon, David Lang and Julia Wolfe.
