n329703922467_9945.jpgPrix Bohemia Radio 2010 :: Call for Submissions — Deadline: May 31, 2010.

The Czech Radio encourages the submission of sound compositions that structurally and esthetically reflect the wide range of means of expression in the contemporary acoustic art scene, transgressing both genre borders and routine principles of traditional radio programming; special emphasis should be placed on creating the composition for the radio as art medium. The following prizes will be awarded: International prize Prix Bohemia Radio 2010 (to an author), National prize Prix Bohemia Radio 2010 (to an author) and Special Mention if a jury decides so.

Maximum length of a nominated composition that was broadcast in the time period from 1 January, 2008 to 31 May, 2010 is 60 minutes. All nominated compositions to the category will be free of charge and at the disposal to the Czech Radio for one full-area broadcast.

Only a program with a filled in application form will be accepted to the competition. A synopsis is to be submitted in English, a program as CD-Audio or CD-ROM.

All materials must be sent to an office of the Production centre of the Czech Radio, Vinohradská 12, Czech Republic - 120 99 Praha 2
