Re:Parallax — Call for Participation: No professional performers, but YOU as the center of attention in Re:Parallax. Become part of the re-enactment of the performance Parallax by Zhana Ivanova. Take your picture in a professionally lit photo set according to the artists directions. Every photo is one image, one frame in a growing online imagebank. Together these pictures form a stop-motion film, which will be shown in the exhibition space. Re:Parallax is part of the exhibition WatSpinoza?.

WatSpinoza? is open until the June 28, 2009. With the project WatSpinoza? Mediamatic wants to advocate public discussion by publicly asking difficult and controversial questions. These questions are based on the thoughts and views of philosopher Spinoza. The questions appear in unexpected places throughout the city. Everyone can respond via sms, via the website and on dozens of chalkboards in the exhibition itself.
