We’re for the fourth time in Östersund arranging a special Upgrade! event with a very interesting perspective with an artist from the generation of media artists. She’ll present her works in a borderland between computer games, art and drawing. A presentation from Ida and a discussion about the multidisciplinary approach with drawing and computer art will happen on April 18 between 2pm and 5pm.

UPGRADE! Östersund-Stockholm is affiliated at the UPGRADE! International. This node in Östersund-Stockholm makes visibility for local swedish artists and people in the new media & art field and brings opportunities to invite international speakers (artists, art critics, curators, theoricians …). The UPGRADE! Östersund-Stockholm node propose some series of presentations, promotes and creates events with and for the artists and new media & art field, but also initiates some transversal questions about environment, critic, low technology, mixed reality, streaming performance, activism, space, rural, urban, nomad.
