Bunk Magazine: Call for Participation
The 10th Anniversary issue of Bunk is wiki-tastic and is calling for contributions. In this issue: The Los Angeles Times, to save its flagging enterprise, has relaunched itself in entirely wiki format as The Los Wikiless Timespedia. The results: The best newspaper that the citizens (and netizens) can create: full of revert wars, spam, salacious content, meticulously beaten hobbyhorses, and endless digressions. But when the readers write the news, whose left to complain?
The Los Wikiless Timespedia is the satirical feature that everyone can edit. And now we’re looking for some Wikijournalists. Of course, we have inserted some starter content. We’ve put jokes throughout the wikii: in the discussion pages, in the history, and even in the content of the pages themselves. Featured articles:
The Complete Facebook Status Messages of Julia Harris
Movie Reviews of Warcraft gameplay videos
DIY Obituaries
Jumbbunk– A Bunk Jumble
Sex advice
Crime Blotter, focusing entirely on the complaints of 3 housemates
TV Listings of YouTube channels
Sports reports from local children’s soccer games.
Reader-drawn comics
All reader-writers can create accounts and join the fun. As with all of Web 2.0, we’ll accept your content at no cost to you.
