Grammy's Brush

Posted On Thursday May 4, 2006 By Casey

My Grammy’s dime store hair brush with wispy strands of her mousey brown and gray hair still caught betwen the bristles. I miss her so much! It’s tucked away, under my bed, in her old wooden sewing box. I almost never look inside, so there is no way I could take a photo of it to post here.

Other People's Thoughts

I can commiserate. I lost my grandmother as well almost 9 years ago now. She was my only grandmother and I her only granddaughter. I still think of her often and wonder if she would’ve been proud of the person I am today. I can hardly look at her photo without getting tears in my eyes.

I’m very sorry for your loss…
