FishNet is an offshoot of a Mobius Artists Group Work in Progress, John Cage: Variations VII, to be presented at the New Art Center, Newton, MA, in the spring of 2007. FishNet, created by Mobius members Margaret Bellafiore, Lewis Gesner, Lawrence Johnson, David P. Miller and Tom Plsek, gathers audio and visual materials from all over the web and collages them in ways analogous to those used by Cage in Variations VII. FishNet audio requires at least one media plugin: Quicktime, RealPlayer, or Windows Media Player plugins. For best results, you should have a high-speed internet connection, such as DSL or Cable.
